Yep, It Really Was That Bad

I don't have much to say. I started a post-game like normal, but then realized it was essentially Monday night all over minus an Arnott goal. The Predators are not playing like a team. That's what it boils down to in my mind. On Monday the Predators lost to Edmonton 6-1. After games like that, you like to see a more disciplined and resilient effort. By the 1st intermission, this one was done. Down 4-0, Dan Ellis gets chased after giving up 3 goals on 3 shots, and the team again looks like it is lost. Final result was a 6-0 loss in Dallas. A few quick stats to throw out before I go back to watching 30 Rock to get my mind off of hockey since tomorrow night is a game against a team that was actually in the playoffs last year.

- Preds out shot Dallas 29-26.

- Sullivan ended the night a team worst -3.

- The Preds dished out the hits, 33 total. Too bad that seemed to be the only focus.

- 19 missed shots by Nashville.

I don't have much else to add really. The Preds looked terrible again, and Dallas capitalized so full marks to the them for playing like a team that wanted to rebound after some losses. Should tomorrow night go the way I think it will, I'll have more detailed analysis like normal. Tonight, I just don't have the energy.

Till tomorrow, take care.
