is Eric Lindros. And he could be a better choice for certain teams. Eric will be a steal this year. He still has the potential to dominate the game this year, as he did early last year prior to the hand injury. Eric is not that old, and the better news: We are approaching three years since the last concussion. The fact is that Eric's chance of getting a concussion is no longer that much higher than you or me...(well at least you, I've had some concussions from playing)...Last year's injury was a fluke, and shouldn't make him any less valuable. The Leafs are the favorite to sign Lindros, but I am also hearing Calgary and Nashville are involved. If I was Calgary I would make this a necessity. I predict Eric Lindros will be the comeback player of the year.
The more and more I hear, Dom Hasek will be the next goalie in Motown. Unless Shanny signs and they can move for Guigere. It could take Robert Lang. Of course Lagace is available, and if the history wasn't there don't you think that Legace would be their best option? Now I could see Legace landing in Florida if Belfour doesn't. When the Wings let Legace go there were rumors that Gerber was the plan, but another rumor floating around now is that the Wings were prepared to put an offer sheet to Luongo and give up the 4 first round picks. Was that the plan that has left the Wings foiled?

Yanic Perreault.... Chicago (e3), Washington (e2), Toronto (e1), Montreal (e2)
Anson Carter...looks more and more like he will return to Vancouver according to my sources.. but the Leafs are also involved.
Shanahan...Montreal is giving it a healthy go, in the end I think Detroit will be a player.
Mike Peca...Islanders (e3, however I am hearing that there is some indecision, Chicago (e1), Toronto (e1) and Montreal (e1)
