Quick Blog this morning as we travel home. I will be blogging again by 3pm with my Second Round Predictions...And then the 300th Episode of the HockeyBuzzcast today at 4pm.

I have to admit that I couldn't watch either game last night because I was with my family. I want to thank you all for the condolences and well wishes. The funeral was tough but good. It is amazing when you meet all the people that your father touched as they come up to us at the funeral. I learned more about my dad yesterday than any other day in my life.

So while I did not see the games, it was pretty funny learning the reults by watching the highlights from NHL On the Fly. Two great games and two resiliant efforts from Southeastern teams who both fought from behind to beat the odds and go to round two.

And the next round will include an AMAZING battle between Pittsburgh and Washington!
