I honestly and truthfully wanted to thank all of you for all the well wishes to Burt the Dog. I twittered yesterday that I had to take him to the vet yesterday afternoon. We are taking him to get an ultrasound today to see if he has prostate cancer. It was a tough night around here but some your encouraging emails, twitters and facebook messages were shared with Mrs Ek. and our two kids. We are keeping it positive and hoping for the best! It still could be nothing, or early and treatable. Burt is only 7 so positive thoughts....and thanks a ton for your kindness.


Now to my morning blog....

Yes, I promised a bunch of readers that I wouldn't mention, well, you know who....(don't worry a one year deal means......)

MOVING ON!!!!!
(ahh how I have longed to say those words...)

I will be heading to Flyers practice today where I will be driving Scotty Hartnell around today and filming the next episode of Flyersbuzz TV. I have a nice long drive to South Jersey and I will be checking in with all those folks who told me that their deals were contingent on, well, you know who...so expect a blog regarding the "you know who" dominos...

But for now, tell me if it gets better than the NHL live webcam stream from Wrigley...I love the WINTER CLASSIC! It just makes you want to lace em up!
