Steel Cage Match: Rangers Vs. Devils |

Roger Mussa will be back tomorrow night from his vacation.
I want to ramble for a bit.......
It's a free for all in the steel cage today.
I have been hearing about it all week from Rangers fans about this match up. The bandwagon fans from New York will try to make it to the Rock and brag how the Devils could never sell out their building.......YADDA YADDA YADDA.......
Fan behavior tonight? I hope we all stay classy and have a good time at the game. One thing I do not get. Many Rangers fans tell me that "this stuff never happens at the Garden" yet I cannot tell you how many times I have had beer thrown at me and have been cursed out of MSG. Did I deserve it? Maybe. But to play innocent yet pretend New York is the toughest sports fans on earth? I'll give Philadelphia credit for having the toughest and most obnoxious fans, not New York.
For me, I love this rivalry than any other rivalry in sports. The new pre-game traditions of having rodizio at Iberia and washing it down with pitchers of sangria. Sure I miss the infamous tailgates at the Meadowlands. Let me tell you: there will be a nice smile on your face after a few glasses of sangria as you would probably want to take a cab rather than walking to the Prudential Center. After the Devils' victory tonight, I'll be hanging out at the Arena Lounge and celebrating another Happy Devils Friday!
The word "sangria" also means bloody both in Spanish and Portuguese. And this game will be a blood bath and quite frankly, I hate the New York Rangers. And if you read Marty Brodeur's book, Brodeur, Beyond the Crease, he hates them too.
I am all fired up for this game. Also, I hope Andy Greene will make his return to the lineup soon. Mussa is predicting a Devils victory and so am I.
