Rolston and Madden back on the ice tonight. Holik and Leblond soon to come. Salmela sent down and Jay Leach up.

The Devs are starting to get everyone back and we need it. One thing I noticed from Coach Sutter is that he does not plan on tampering any chemistry that has developed so guys coming back from injury will "work their way into the lineup", and thats how it should be.
It will be interesting to see how Rolston responds to being out an extended period of time. I also am curious to see what kind of line mixing could happen todards the latter part of the game.

As Ive said before, only after icing a full and healthy team will Uncle Lou have a better handle on the team itself, and which moves he couls/should make. I think the Uncle Lou will do whatever he could (as always without jeopardizing the future of the team) to help the best goalie in the world, Marty Brodeur, to win another cup.
I know I sound like a brokern record "I cant help but think of trades such as; Guerin for Arnott, Morrison for Mogilny, Millen for Broten as indications for what could happen come deadline day" What do you think?
As for Bulin to NJ as Ek has mentioned a few times... I think it is quite premature and "if" something like that goes down you better believe that Marty will be out longer than originally thought.
As a source put it "... the Devs organization is like Fort Knox, sometimes things happen and people from the outside know before we do and let us know!" So, needless to say I have nothing to back that up or any kind of speculation.
The only speculation are the wishes I have; Jovo Cop or Afinogenov. Wouldnt it be nice to have Havlat play on a line with Elias? ;)

Food for thought...
The Devils annual Toys for Tots drive will be on Dec. 10th, in conjuntion with the US Marines.
All toys should be unwrapped and there will be reps at the doors collecting.
In these tough times it is easy to put a smile on a youngster's face.

Interesting article...
I try to share interesting articles and this is a good one on TV ratings in the NHL.

http://www.bizjournals.com/washington/stories/2008/12/01/daily78.html

Congrats to the Caps, largerly in part to Alex the great, whos ratings jumped 140% !
This may be a sign to come as the recession will force more people to stay home.
Think about it -
For a family of 4, $200 gets you 4 nose bleeds, 2 beers, 2 sodas and 4 hotdogs (not coutning parking)
OR
$150 gets you the NHL package on TV for the entire season AND EVERY GAME IN EVERY CITY.
What do you think?

I will be away for a week...Disney with the family. Be well all...

Lets go Devils!

Truly yours,
The Devils Advocate
