According to a source on the Island tonight, the NY Islanders may be closing in on a MAJOR deal that would include a third team (believed to be Nashville). All I have heard at this point is the Islanders would land LA Kings Forward Dustin Brown. Not sure what else is involved.

All this while the Isles are playing their best hockey of the young season to date tonight..up 3-1 on Montreal and still early...

I continue to hear more through various sources via emails and texts this afternoon that the Sens are targeting Trevor Daley..

One source, "They have a "safety" player in mind, but they are high on Daley," one scout from the Western Conference texted me.
