Dan Hinote suffered a cut this past saturday against Dallas in the thigh area. Sources say he required 50 stitches and will obviously miss several days.

I'm told D.J. King misssed practice today to have an MRI performed on his wrist.

D-man Jonas Junland has been cleared for contact and will practice with the team on Wednesday. He has not been on the ice since last friday, the only time since injuring his shoulder in the Blues pre-season opener.

The Blues re-assigned several players to Peoria today including Andy Wozniewski, Trent Whitfield, Brad Winchester, Matt Foy, and Charles Linglet. I'm sure the Blues will release the full list later today.

From earlier...

Nikolai Khabibulin clears waivers, obviously no surprise here.

The Edmonton Oilers have claimed D-man Steve MacIntyre off waivers.

The following players cleared waivers…

Eric Boguniecki-Anaheim

Jason Bacashihua-Colorado

Shawn Bell-Montreal

Chris Beckford-Tseu-Florida

Mike York has been placed on waivers by the Colombus BlueJackets

The St. Louis Blues have waived Cam Paddock
