***Update 2***

I love the interest and enthusiasm here! Even for just a post about prospects camp!!!

For those that were wondering, Dana Tyrell and goaltender Dustin Tokarski will attend Hockey Canada's National Junior Team Development Camp (which starts on Friday) instead of the team's prospect camp.

***Update***

I've been asked a few times now, so I figured I'd post it here.

As I understand it, camp is open to the public. Practices begin at 11:15 on Monday.

A portion of the press release:

The participants will be divided into two teams with practices and off-ice workouts taking place each day through Friday, August 1. Scrimmages will be held at 6 p.m. PT on Tuesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 31 at Bear Mountain Arena.

The Lightning will get a look into their future next week as they hold their week-long prospect camp at owner Len Barrie's Bear Mountain Resort in Victoria, British Columbia.

Four former first round picks - Steven Stamkos, Riku Helenius, Andy Rogers and Ty Wishart - will be among the 30 players in attendance, 19 of whom are property of the Lightning.

2008 7th round draft choice David Carle, unable to play because of a rare heart condition discovered at the draft combine, will also attend the camp, though he remains unable to skate.
