Dan Boyle has agreed to waive his no trade clause and is heading to San Jose with Brad Lukowich for a package including Matt Carle, a 1st Rounder, a Prospect and a 4th Rounder - per Darren Dreger but not yet announced by Tampa's two great hockey minds..

The trade would somewhat unite Carle with his brother David who was drafted by Tampa in the 7th round despite a heart condition that in all likelihood will mean the end of his career. Matt is set to earn $13.75 mil over the next four years, thanks to a contract that he signed before really struggling this season.

The Lightning's projected top six now consists of Paul Ranger, Filip Kuba, Shane O'Brien, Matt Carle, Alexandre Picard Senators Jersey in the HockeyBuzz Store' href='http://shop.hockeybuzz.com/ottawa-senators.php'>Alexandre Picard and Janne Niskala.
