Dan Boyle hasn't given Tampa Bay a list of teams that he would approve a trade to. He and his agent will continue to gather information to determine where he's best suited to play in 08-09 before deciding whether or not he plans on waiving his no-trade clause.

Obviously Boyle will consider waiveing his no-trade if the club is able to work a deal with a team and city he wants to play for, otherwise he will remain with the Lightning organization. As of right now Tampa Bay remains his number one choice and he is in no hurry to make a decision.

I've been told no trade will happen tonight.

Tampa Bay has not approached Boyle's camp regarding any trades pending his approval. As you would expect several teams are interested.

Chicago signs former Blues D-man Matt Walker to a 1 yr. deal.

Stastny gets 2 yr. deal from St. Louis.

First year is a two way, second is a one way contract.

Blues also finalize the purchase deal with their AHL affiliate in Peoria.

From earlier:

Agent:Boyle Leaning Towards not Waiving No-Trade

This is coming directly from Dan Boyle's agent who I have spoken with multiple times today. This is not speculation or from some secondary source.

As we sit right now Dan Boyle is leaning 100% towards NOT waiving his no-trade clause in his contract.

Boyle and his agent plan on doing some research to determine which club would be the best fit, but again there is no guarantee he's waiving his no-trade.

Could he end up waiving it? Obviously yes.

Boyle recently got married and has a baby on the way, they are happily settled in Tampa Bay and are not looking to move.

I've been told if a trade eventually goes down, it will not happen today.

For Blues fans out there, St. louis is not interested in trading for Boyle.
