Habs Fans?
The Canadiens are all hot and heavy for Mats Sundin, and with good reason..
But should they be?
Talking to a source now who has told me in the past that Hossa was the #1 target of the Canadiens and another source who has been telling me the Canadiens are tops on the list to land Hossa I am getting what feels like a new attitude shift in Montreal.
"As they get ready for the Centennial Year in Montreal, there is little doubt that #13 in Red White and Blue is definitely steering the ship ...The problem is Mats is a one year deal. Hossa is at least six. I have asked people in the know if signing Mats means Hossa goes elsewhere and while no one has confirmed for certain that it is Mats #1, then Hossa, no one will deny that either..."
Another source, "Hossa is now a 'backup" plan...That is a definite paradigm shift..I dont think both could be signed, although I do feel that Selanne could follow Mats and Saku to Montreal..."
So my question to the thousands of Montreal fans that read this site every day:
Hossa or Sundin? Or do you think they could still land both?
