Watching Don Cherry on Hockey Night in Canada in between period 1 and 2 and the Coach feels that Price didn't have a chance on either of the two goals.

I respect Don Cherry as much as any hockey guy alive. He is the king of the hockey media. Flat out the best in any sport at what we do.

He broke down the three goals in Period 1, and as always he is fascinating.

On the Habs goal he pointed out that Biron got caught looking at Kukanen who had a skate come up and cut him in the face . VERY LUCKY FOR KUK. Only got some stitches over the eye. I didn't notice this at all, but it does explain why Biron was looking the other way. Great eye by Cherry and the CBC staff.

However, on the two Flyers goals he claimed that Price didn't have a chance on either.

I really disagree. On Umberger's goal Cherry claimed that Koivu was screening him and he was, however Price was beaten short side and was back in his net, back almost on the goal line and back in the exact same spot where he was for Carter's goal that was also short side high.

Price needs to be out of his net a little more.

I am not saying that the screen wasn't there, or that Carter didn't fire a laser guided missile on the second goal, I just feel that we need to lay at least partial Blame on Price.

What do you all think?

NOTE: I love Price and was a big supporter...just think you need to be fair.
