2:37PM - My computer failed in the city and as promised, I have my pictures from the Big Apple. We spread the New Jersey Devils love everywhere in NYC and more to follow:
3:55AM - I just woke up and I am feeling fired up. The Stanley Cup fever you get is amazing and I love this time of year. Had this been in November, I would question myself, why would I get up this early in the morning to go into NYC with my Red New Jersey Devils jersey and Martin Brodeur goalie gear? Because now, it is the playoffs and that energy really makes you go Cup Crazy.
I think I really do this is because there is a sentiment amongst fans around the league, mainly our rivals, that New Jersey Devils fans are not passionate and there are not many of them. Like we are little pests that won't go away. It goes back to our whole motto from the beginning: Devils fans Against the World. When we win, they call our team boring. When the Meadowlands is a dump and Commish Bettman called it a "soul less building", they said there are not enough fans in New Jersey and they do not care. Or even when they said that the new Newark Arena, now the Prudential Center, is the stupidest thing to do because no one would ever attend a hockey game in a crime filled city. Now, Newark is my favorite city and I am proud of the people behind the scenes that have revitalized the city.
Well, I need to get ready as we are going to NYC and promoting the Hockey Revolution. I am heading to Clifton first to pick up my friend and then to mid town Manhatten. We are looking to getting onto the Today Show.

10:17PM - I am about to head to bed as we are about to embark our great journey to NYC to help promote the Devils/Rangers Stanley Cup playoff series. I got my digital cameras ready, my laptop, wireless internet card, and my Martin Brodeur goalie gear loaded up in my truck.
This is what Devils hockey is all about. I am sure I may get booed in the streets of Manhatten but it will create awareness that there is a cross rival match up going on and that baseball and basketball can take a back seat to hockey, the greatest sport on earth. So before I go off to bed and have to wake up at 3:30AM, I just want to tell all of the Devils fans that my crew will represent our red colors well in NYC and hope to meet some friendly New York hockey fans. We will visit many of the famous New York landmarks.
