All goes exactly as they finished in the lottery....Congrats to Tampa, seriously this is HUGE for them and they are a great franchise...

But....Does this lottery system make any sense to anyone? In my opinion when teams from top to bottom are separated by so few points this system doesn't make any sense.

I truly fear for what will happen down the stretch for Tavares.

I like the system they had for Crosby. Give the lesser teams the advantage...sure. But with UFA's at 27, and teams changing 30% of their rosters every year and the WORST team finishing with ALMOST 80 points....
