Stastny drove to Chicago this morning before flying to Vancouver. He will be in the lineup tonight.

Christian backman will be back in the lineup after sitting out the last two games. Erik Johnson will likely sit out.

Stastny, who will be unrestricted this summer has been playing some good hockey for Peoria and has earned his chance to show the Blues he can play in the show. All Stastny needs is health and an opportunity to play in the NHL. He never received a real chance in Boston where he was a fourth line guy playing 6:00 mintes a game.

Yan has the Stastny smarts and is funtional enough to play on all four lines. He has some skill and can kill penalties. The Blues need to see what he can do considering his contract expires after this season.

Yan's brother Paul is recovering from having his apendix removed last week and will not participate in Sunday's All Star game in atlanta.

Rookie David Perron may also be scratched tonight as well in Vancouver.

Manny Legace is back in goal.
